Jeong Junction is a four-story Korean cultural institute and residence located within the historic Neue Galerie building in New York. The first two floors function as a public cultural center, including galleries, educational classrooms, media spaces, performance/program areas, and a public garden. The third and fourth floors transition into a private two-story luxury residence for the Cultural Attaché and family. The design explores the Korean concept of Jeong (정) — deep emotional connection, affection, and belonging — by weaving together cultural exchange, public learning, and intimate domestic life.
