Cultural Memory in a Contemporary Home
This apartment project began as my first residential design course and was later revisited in a lighting design studio. The original concept focused on creating a natural contemporary home for a Taiwanese writer and art collector, blending cultural traditions, inherited furniture, Feng Shui considerations, and a warm neutral palette. One year later, I returned to the same project to redesign the lighting strategy, develop the 3D model, and study how natural and artificial light could transform the atmosphere, function, and emotional quality of the space.
