The Renovated Firehouse reimagines an old fire building as a live-work residence for Taiwanese jade artist Fu-Shou Huang. Inspired by his delicate carvings, natural imagery, and spiritual approach to craft, the design blends gallery, studio, tea room, courtyard, and private living spaces into one calm, layered environment. Through Feng Shui principles, natural materials, and a clear public-to-private transition, the project creates a home where art-making, reflection, and everyday life coexist.

Traditionally, the technique of jade carving is mainly used to avoid evil spirits, guide the spirit and energy in jade through carving to protect the wearer, or to pray for blessings.
Through the love of jade carving, perseverance, and the sense of mission of cultural inheritance, we are committed to protecting the traditional technology of jade carving, and regard it as a new form of contemporary art.
